Nicasio Woodworks' is a small Marin County workshop that is focused on the creation of artistic, yet functional items from highly figured wood. We seek out attractive raw wood that we can carve to create pieces that can be proudly displayed to accent a room, but are durable enough to be used regularly. The intention is that our items should be used, enjoyed and someday, perhaps, passed down to the next generation. In this way, the stories within the wood become complemented with the accruing stories of the families using them.

We are at two retail outlets: Dovetail Collections in Healdsburg, a unique California gallery that specializes in high end wood products and Terrestra, a home products store both in Sacramento and with an active online presence.
